Disneyland items, including Tiki Room bird and 'Pirates' skeleton, auctioned for $1.7 million

A Disneyland memorabilia collector has taken a cue from the movie "Frozen" and decided to "Let It Go." Van Eaton Galleries says nearly 1,000 items — including a bird from the Enchanted Tiki Room and an original "Pirates of the Caribbean" skeleton — brought in $1.7 million during a weekend auction held online and in Sherman Oaks, California.
